2017 Summer Flight Academy
In 1995, Original Tuskegee Airmen of the then San Francisco Chapter developed a Summer Flight Academy where minority teens in two weeks learned the basics of flight in ground school; then flew planes with certified flight instructors; gaining up to ten hours of actual flight time.

In 2017, we will continue the tradition of the Summer Flight Academy.

In 2018, we intend to run the Flight Academy year-round!

More information and Academy applications will be available soon!

TAI Museum
The Hayward Executive Air Terminal is undergoing major changes in the near future!

One of those changes will be the development of museum dedicated to the history of the Tuskegee Airmen, and will highiight the lives and accomplishments of the Airmen who called the Bay Area and Central California coast home. Their dedication to country and community will be showcased in the 2000 sq. ft. facility.

A campaign to raise funding for this project will begin in early 2017.
